Well, after having listened to this mix on some other equipment my feeling is that this mix is not very good. The vocals are too verby and the eq is funny also. I'm gonna rework everything once my ears reset, but I'll leave it up anyway.

It does have a fairly dry mix, when I just sit and imagine what would be a full sound, I hear a deeper drum first, and a ;ess verbed guitar. The vox are good I think, I wouldn't change the intensity of the verb, I would work with the qualities of the verb saturation. Bass could be punchier too. I think that if it gained a nice powerfully eq'ed rhythm section it would rock in a much more bobbable context.
Damn, fred had a lot on his mind for this one. great lyrics, more than great, legendary.
I think the compostition is perfect though, maybe the last guiitar solo could be a lot cleaner, the rhythm gets a bit funky,
God I love that old fashioned guitar.

Yeah, retake the drums maybe... but keep the overall "feel/sound" they portray. Do you guys have all the tracks recorded separate? If you do, can I have a go at the mix?

I love the song. I’m not much of an expert with production the only observation I’d make is maybe the drums could be more punchier. Snare maybe gets lost behind the hats/cymbals. Maybe pan the hats wider and see if you can make the snare crunchier somehow. Vox and guitar seem well recorded to me. Great compositon.

That slide guitar really rocks.
I'm listening on headphones, I think the mix isn't bad. The vocals are really edgy; I think they fit the mood of the song nice. The rough'n'raw thing comes through pretty well, even though the midi percussion stuff detracts just a tad from that.
Some harmony vocals would work wonders, I think.
This is a very cool song. The distorted guitar tone grows on me; but the slide guitar really, that's where it's really working for me.
Is that backwards guitar at the end? That sounds kick-ass, whatever it is. Sounds like backwards stuff, but it's so right in tune/time/melody that if it was played backwards i'm much impressed. Great work on this one.

Sure, it's a little dry, like listening to a live concert through a paper bag, but that doesn't stop the slightly rambunctious bounce of this one from grabbing me. Wonderful slide and electric!
As usual, you hit the nail on the head, old buddy. Some of the lines sound a little forced, but they certainly say what needs to be said. Hell, don't change a thing.
This one oozes that red king style. A little production work and It'll rank up there with the rest of your tracks, which, in case you haven't noticed, I dig a good deal

This one's just dripping with style. I really love all of the guitar tones here and the way they work together. The strummed part, the distorted part, the slide ... all of it. I agree the mix isn't the best, but it's not bad, either. The drums definitely need some variation, I'd say. I'm also not crazy about the lyrics, but overall, this is a very solid song!

yeah it is abit of a rough mix, but it fits perfect with this style, gives it a very dirrty sound and thats a perfect atmosphere for this.

Just some re-mixing - no big deal..... Raw and edgy but I ask you - Is that a bad thing?
When rock was a baby they were all like that.

Great song and awesome lyrics! Love the guitarwork in this a lot. I love the slide guitars and the tone of the lead. It's good to hear someone sing about things that matter! Great job!

Well I love the feel from the outset, really a different style for you and a song with a message, this has lots of potential, just needs warming up a little, great stomping beat and when beefed up will rock the house
